10 acts of self-care (that cost nothing at all)

Being kind to yourself sounds easy, and there’s no reason why it should be anything other. Yet, for some people, being kind to themselves is one of the hardest things to practise. Here’s 10 ways you can practise self-care and be kinder to yourself today.

  1. Know that you are enough

  2. Make a list of all of the things you’re proud of

  3. Learn something new

  4. Reflect on 3 positive things that happened today

  5. Get outside, go for a walk and enjoy the fresh air

  6. Be thankful for little victories

  7. Set realistic goals

  8. Do more of what you love

  9. Make time for family and friends

  10. Use positive language when referring to yourself and others
